Advanced Manufacturing Technology Capstone Ceremony

U.S. Congressman Paul Tonko will address the Advanced manufacturing industry leaders from around the region and United States attending the annual ceremony to honor this year’s AMT Capstone Project seniors.
Approximately $3,000 in cash awards will be presented to student winners and 18 customized working Capstone Models worth approximately $100K will be presented to the program’s corporate sponsors.
With a leadership challenge gift of $1 million from the Gene Haas Foundation in August 2015, the college is anticipating construction of the Gene F. Haas Center for Advanced Manufacturing Skills. The planned 40,000 square foot, state-of-the-art building will be the most complete, advanced, operational manufacturing and technology educational, training and resource center in the United States. Haas Automation builds CNC machine tools for manufacturing.
