Due to weather predictions, please take note of a few changes to Hudson Valley Community College’s 63rd Annual Commencement Ceremony.
Commencement will take place in the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium as scheduled on Saturday, May 13.
The line-up location for graduates has changed. All graduates are asked to report no later than 7:30 a.m. to the McDonough Sports Complex.
- Name cards and rain ponchos will be distributed in the lobby.
- Students will line up inside the field house (gym) after obtaining their name cards.
Faculty marshals should also report to the field house.
Faculty and members of the platform party should report no later than 8:20 a.m. to the Conway Ice Rink for the procession. Please allow extra time since students also will be reporting to the McDonough Sports Complex. Rain ponchos will be distributed in the line-up location.
The post-ceremony reception for all participants will take place in the Conway Ice Rink. Diploma covers and Commencement programs will be available in the lobby following the ceremony. Programs will not be placed on your seats.
