The Environmental Health and Safety Department is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Draper to the position of EHS Technician.
Jennifer comes to Hudson Valley Community College after working as a construction site safety coordinator, a policeofficer at the Watervliet Arsenal and serving in the United States Army National Guard. While serving in the National Guard, Jenn completed a deployment to Iraq and received the Medal for Humane Service, the Army Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal. Jennifer completed coursework at Hudson Valley and received her Associates Degree from the American Military University.
Jennifer will be active all over campus conducting routine inspections, assisting departments with EHS assessments and safety datasheet (SDS) management, and assisting the EHS Department in routine functions and special projects.
