The Fall 2017 Cultural Events Calendar, promoting an exciting schedule of lectures, performances, gallery exhibitions and more, now is available!
Highlights are Jo-Anne McArthur: We Animals, whose award-winning photographs reveal the exploitation of the animals we “use” everyday for food, clothing, research, work, entertainment and companionship, and a performance by jazz drummer William Hooker. The Teaching Gallery presents back-to-back, one-person shows and Voices: A Library Lecture Series addresses six topics ranging from climate change to worms. Three additional exhibits are planned for the Marvin Library Learning Commons, including the seventh annual “Pride of Our Nation, Pride of Our College” exhibit honoring military service personnel.
If you would like one calendar or a bundle to distribute to your students or for visitors to your office, please email Debby Gardner with the number you need.
A digital version of the Cultural Events Calendar, as well as the Voices brochure, can be found at www.hvcc.edu/culture.
