Dear Faculty and Staff,
The Hudson Valley Empowerment Committee is planning a Student Leadership Expo for Friday, Sept. 8. The event will introduce our students to the college community and expose them to services geared toward their enrichment in an effort to maximize their potential for success.
Please encourage students to attend around their class schedule. The Expo will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It will be an amazing morning with inspiring speakers, interactive workshops where students will build concrete leadership skills, and tables with information from campus and local organization and groups that support our students. Students will have the opportunity to meet classmates, college and community leaders, as well as learn more about academic and student support services.
Below is an outline for the event. For times and more details, please see the attached brochure or go to the website at https://www.hvcc.edu/leadershipexpo.
If you have any questions about the event and/or would like to attend please feel free to contact Tanya Fredricks at t.fredricks@hvcc.edu or extension 7550.
Sincerely,
The Empowerment Committee
