It’s a new academic year and excitement is in the air! We know what you’re thinking — it must be time for the annual Assessment and Unit Plan Report process!
Yes, with the new academic year comes the annual Assessment and Unit Plan Report process. Beginning the week of Sept. 5, we will be sending all department chairs and unit heads their 2017-18 assessment and planning documents. It is time again to bring the college up to date on the results of the 2016-17 Unit and Assessment Plans, make any needed changes to your 2017-2018 Plans, and prepare your 2018-2019 Plans.
Once again, the TIAP office will be offering assistance. We really enjoyed working with all of you last year and are looking forward to seeing you again this year as we go through the Assessment and Planning process. We found last year’s process to be a learning experience for us, as we learned more about your areas’ services and responsibilities as well as the goals and objectives that guide your work. The work that everyone did last year was truly impressive and we are very happy to be a part of it.
Thank you all for your continued cooperation with and participation in the Institutional Effectiveness process. Your feedback and collaboration is invaluable to the process and to the achievement of the college’s mission and goals. We are looking forward to another eventful and successful year at Hudson Valley.
