By popular demand, Wassa Pan Afrika returns to campus under the direction of Nana Kwasi Anim, dance and drumming master for a performance at noon Friday, Sept. 15 in the Maureen Stapleton Theatre. The program is presented free to all by the Cultural Affairs Program.
Six dancers and five musicians present “Yedee Ba” (We Are Bringing It). The high-energy performance combines gymnastics, foot-stomping rhythms, and brilliantly colored costumes and props, and communicates the troupe’s message of peace and unity.
