To help promote the wide variety of our students’ achievements, the college uses the Merit software. New students may have received an e-mail noting their first achievement recognized by the college – your enrollment for the Fall 2017 term. Let’s hope this is the first of many achievements you will earn here at the college.
It’s easy to claim this achievement and set up your personal Merit page which can showcase all the achievements the college recognizes – dean’s list, honor societies, sports achievements. Merit also makes it easy to add your work experience and other college interests to your page. In essence, it can serve as a verifiable way to prove all the great things you are doing here at Hudson Valley – an informal online resume of your work and achievements.
So, claim that page!
Conversely, if you wish to opt out of Merit, they make that easy as well. Just look for the link on the email you receive and follow the path to opt out.
