Tamu Chamber, professor in the History, Philosophy and Social Sciences Department, is invited to participate in Conversation in the Disciplines (CID), a SUNY Chancellor initiative.
The topic for this CID is “Accessing Diversity Outcomes.” It is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 6 at Morrisville State College.
The goal for this Conversations in the Disciplines is generate a report that details best practices that can be used by campuses across SUNY to develop Course and Program Learning Outcomes (CPLO), which address diversity, equity, and inclusion and to develop plans to assess these outcomes.
Professor Chambers is an educator input liaison to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Amistad Commission.
