Sadly, I write to inform the campus community of the passing on Oct. 9 of Patricia Colongione, who worked at the college for nearly two decades following a 25-year career at SUNY Albany. Anyone who knew Pat knew she truly loved working here.
Pat was on campus on Sept. 27 to be honored by the college’s Nursing Department with the Honorary Nursing Practice Certificate and Pin in recognition of her extraordinary commitment to community health and dedicated care to local individuals and families.
Sincere condolences to Pat’s daughter, Lonnie Hetman, a technical assistant in the Learning Assistance Center and Testing Office, and the entire family.
