The Campus Ministry and Cultural Affairs Program invite faculty, staff and students to participate in a Meditative Tone Journey at noon Thursday, Sept. 29 in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center Auditorium.
A musician now based in Harlem, Laraaji NadaBrahmananda gained international prominence as a featured artist on Brian Eno’s Ambient 3: Day of Radiance (1980). He and Arji OceAnanda, a sound-healing musician from Niskayuna, “weave a transportive listening adventure… that leaves us uplifted and deeply soothed” using an array of instruments, including open-tuned zither/harp, African thumb piano, gentle percussion and “ecstatic” vocals.
Whether you can stay for the entire concert or just a portion, please come and relax, clear your head, meditate, stretch or simply sit back and enjoy wherever the music takes you!
