The Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) Program is pleased to hold an Open House for prospective students and their families on Thursday, Aug. 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Gene F. Haas Center for Advanced Manufacturing Skills on the Main Campus.
The AMT Program teaches the skills for a career in precision machining. Using manual and computer-controlled machine (CNC) tools, students gain a solid foundation to start their career in precision manufacturing. Day and evening programs are available beginning Aug. 29.
During the open house, attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Meet with the instructors
- Participate in hands-on demonstrations
- Tour the machine shops
- Get accepted on the spot*
*If you are interested in applying, fill out the application at www.hvcc.edu/apply if you haven’t already done so, and bring any academic transcripts from high school and/or college with you to the Open House.
