African American History expert speaks Tuesday, March 17

 

Oscar Williams, Ph.D., chair of Africana Studies at University at Albany, will present Reflections on Themes from the ‘Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle’ Series on Tuesday, March 17, at 2 p.m. in the BTC Auditorium.  Dr. Williams is an expert on 19th and 20th century African American history.  Join us as the dialogue continues, examining the long history of civil rights struggles in America considered in the context of current events and through the lives of HVCC students.
