With summer hot on our tails, the Office of Workforce Development is pleased to offer Air Conditioning Service and Repair, non-credit course, this summer.
Do you have an interest in the in-demand field of HVAC service and repair? This course provides an in-depth study of the practical aspects of residential and light commercial air conditioning equipment and systems. An emphasis is placed on the theory of heat transfer, good service and installation practices, and the use of instruments and gauges to assist in fault diagnosis. This AC Service and Repair course provides students with entry-level skills in the field of air conditioning installation, service and repair. Upon completion of the course, the student will need to obtain their EPA 608 certification prior to working in the field.
