The American Heart Association (AHA) is again sponsoring its National Wear Red Day, Friday, Feb. 6, 2015. People wear red that day and donate $5 to the American Heart Association. Funding from the event benefits the Go Red for Women cause.
As you may know, heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, and National Wear Red Day raises awareness and the funds to fight heart disease.
The AHA is looking for a volunteer coordinator for this effort on campus. If you are interested, contact Eric Bryant in the Office of Communications and Marketing at e.bryant@hvcc.edu or x8072.
