Did you know that April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month? Health Services at the Wellness Center invites you to stop by our table on the second floor of the Campus Center  this Wednesday, April 16 from 11 a.m.-  1 p.m.  We will be providing information and materials promoting Testicular Cancer Awareness.

KNOW THE FACTS:

  • Testicular cancer is a rare but very curable disease.
  • Testicular cancer strikes younger men (people whose sex assigned at birth was male).
  • An injury to your testicles (getting “hit in the balls”) does not cause testicular cancer.
  • Many people with testicular cancer have healthy, normal sex lives after treatment.
  • Testicular cancer often does not affect fertility. Also, getting “hit in the balls” often does not affect fertility.
  • Support services can help with emotional side effects.
