Recently an e-mail has been circulating on the internet about one brand of CFCs causing fires. This is false, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission and Underwiter’s Laboratory.

CFC’s are energy efficient, save you money and help the environment. They are safe to use (except for the one listed on the recall) and can be recycled at many Home Depot, Lowe’s or Ace Hardware stores. (Check first with the store.)
