Arm of the Sea Theater presents “The Rejuvenary River Circus” Thursday at noon

The Rejuvenary River Circus follows Malakai, a messenger and water carrier, on an allegorical journey between mountain peaks and the Deep Blue Sing-Song Sea. Along the way, he meets a sea turtle, a talkative crow, beavers, oysters, and schools of migrating fish – all depicted in the colorful, handmade masks and puppets that are the Arm of the Sea Theater’s hallmark. Each creature offer insights into its unique role in a watershed’s ecosystem.

The Rejuvenary River Circus will be performed in the Maureen Stapleton Theatre on Thursday, Oct. 6 at noon. The event is free and open to the public.

This show appeals to audiences of all ages and is appropriate for young children. A study guide is available as a .pdf and can be obtained by emailing m.zemantauski@hvcc.edu.
