The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE) Committee met on March 13 at 1 p.m. The meeting minutes are as follows:
Dr. Margaret Geehan opened the meeting and the group reviewed the Core Indicator results. A number of the CIs were discussed including Graduation Rate, Enrollment, Retention, and Loan Default.
Detailed discussion ensued by committee members who delved into topics related to the Indicators including demographics, peer institution comparisons and data trends. Some members asked if data could be sorted/gathered by some additional factors, such as Loan Default rates by peer institution. It was suggested that this may be available.
Members also questioned some of the outlying data points for greater understanding. Other Core Indicators will be reviewed at future meetings.
The meeting was adjourned at 2 p.m.
The next AIE Committee is on Tuesday, April 10.
