The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE) Committee met on Nov. 14, 2017, at 1 p.m. The meeting minutes are as follows:
l. Middle States Update
Nothing new to report
ll. Advisement Assessment – update – Student survey is out
Advisor satisfaction survey was reviewed by the committee. Several modifications to the survey were proposed and adopted. A new question asking whether advisors always discuss career/transfer opportunities was proposed. A revised survey will be available for the next meeting or before. The DC advisement survey was also discussed with revisions suggested.
Dean survey – It was proposed that a Dean survey be conducted live as a focus group or small meeting of Deans vs. a paper process. Agreed by all.
Student survey – Was distributed to all students on Monday, Nov. 13.

The next AIE Committee will be on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 1 p.m. in ADM 130.
