The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE) Committee met on Jan. 16, 2018, at 1 p.m. The meeting minutes are as follows:

In preparation for the 2018 Employee Satisfaction Survey, Dr. Geehan asked members of the committee to begin joint review of survey questions used in 2017 to determine if additions, deletions or modifications were desired. After discussion and many suggestions, it was agreed to alter the survey questions in several ways.
The wording of the questions will be reworked as many were awkward.
Comment boxes were added to several items in order to get more information from respondents.
Dr. Geehan will modify the survey incorporating suggestions and aim to complete the balance of survey questions at the next meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 2 p.m. The next AIE Committee meeting will be on Jan. 30 at 1 p.m. in ADM 130.
