The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness Committee met on March 7, 2023. The meeting minutes follow.
Dr. Margaret Geehan and Meg Mann opened the meeting at 1 p.m. The meeting was held mostly via Zoom.
Middle States Update
Dr. Geehan opened the meeting by reminding the group of the upcoming Middle States visit and providing an update preparations for the visit. She reviewed a series of questions that explored Institutional Effectiveness’s role on campus and encouraged members to think about this.
Many action plans exist specifically related to meeting the college’s goals and objectives. Dr. Geehan said that there are “champions” in place who ask follow up questions every year to assess what was done towards the goals of each program. All of the questions from the AIE Committee have a trickle-down effect.
The committee may meet with Middle States as a group during their visit. Dr. Geehan reminded everyone to be prepared for that.
