WRGB CBS News 6 contacted Assistant Professor Richard Monda for information about the Flower Moon Total Eclipse, which should be visible in the Capital District — despite partly cloudy skies — overnight Sunday to Monday, May 15-16.
Monda has taught astronomy and physics at Hudson Valley Community College since 2001. He wrote “Star Talk,” a monthly astronomy column, for The Sunday Gazette for over 32 years, was director of the Schenectady Museum Planetarium for 10 years.
