Last Week’s Athletics Results
Men’s Basketball (6-5) won two out of three matchups this past week. The men spent the week traveling, as they went to Dutchess Community College and won 83-67. On Saturday, they took on Finger Lakes Community College and won a very close game 77-72. The men’s basketball team then lost to Corning Community College 87-70, ending its five-game winning streak.
Women’s Basketball (2-7) hosted Albany Pharmacy on Tuesday and lost in a close game, 54-50. The women traveled with the men the rest of the week and lost the remaining three games. The Vikings came up just short to Dutchess, losing 59-52. Over the weekend the women lost to Finger Lakes, 79-60, and then to Corning, 77-54.
Ice Hockey (3-8-1) traveled to take on the club team of the University of Vermont where they lost 0-4.
Upcoming Week
Men’s Basketball (6-5) hosts undefeated Onondaga Community College on Wednesday at 7 p.m., and then hosts Tompkins-Cortland Community College on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Women’s Basketball (2-7) hosts Onondaga on Wednesday at 5 p.m., and Tompkins-Cortland on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Ice Hockey (3-8-1) is also playing at home this Wednesday at 7 p.m. when they take on Region 3 rival Mohawk Valley.
