Last Week’s Athletics Results
Lacrosse (4-3) defeated Broome 12-6 on Monday, and Finger Lakes 18-13 on Wednesday. The Vikings lost to No. 8 Monroe 8-7 to end the regular season
Baseball (15-11) swept Schenectady winning 13-4 and 12-4 on Tuesday, and 12-2 in both games on Thursday. Over the weekend the Vikings split the series against Adirondack, winning game one 11-7 and losing game two 6-5 on Saturday. Sunday saw similar results as the men won game one 12-2 and lost game two 10-3.
Softball (6-8) defeated Fulton-Montgomery in a doubleheader on Thursday, 13-2 and 11-2. On Saturday, the Vikings lost to Corning 7-4 and 8-1. The following day, they lost to Monroe 14-1 and 18-2.
Upcoming Week
Lacrosse (6-4) earned the No. 5 seed in the Region 3 tournament. The men will travel to No. 4 Tompkins-Cortland on Wednesday at 5 p.m. for the sub-regionals.
Baseball (15-11) play a four-game series against Mohawk Valley, first playing Tuesday away at 2 p.m., and then Thursday home at 2 p.m. The Vikings then play a four-game series against Columbia-Greene, playing away on Saturday at 1 p.m., and then home on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Softball (6-8) hosts Adirondack for a doubleheader on Tuesday at 3 p.m. The Vikings travel to Columbia-Greene on Thursday at 3 p.m., and then home against on Sunday at 1 p.m.
