Nick McSpedon, a rising senior in the Automotive Technical Services program, recently learned that he has been awarded a $2500 Garage Gurus Scholarship from Federal Mogul.
Funding for the scholarships is provided through the Federal-Mogul Motorparts Corporation Garage Gurus, who provide industry-leading training to automotive professionals. The scholarship will help pay for education expenses in his second year of the college’s highly-regarded Automotive Technical Services program.
Nick was one of only 12 recipients in the nation, according to faculty member Chris McNally.
He also serves as a peer tutor for the Learning Assistance Center, helping his fellow students with math and other technical topics.
