To all Blackboard users:
Please be advised that a maintenance moment will take place in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 30, between 4 and 4:30 a.m. As per memo below from Blackboard, there should be little if any impact on end users. However, the college’s Distance and Online Learning and ITS staff are advising that you not try to access, or be working in, your courses or organizations between 4 and 4:30 a.m., Sunday, July 30, in order to avoid error messages or other complications.

“Amazon Web Services has notified Blackboard that a required maintenance update for Blackboard Learn SaaS instances has been scheduled for 4 – 4:30 a.m. EDT on Sunday, July 30… Very little impact is expected for Learn instances, and any downtime will be limited to one to two minutes at most. End users will experience slowness or a temporary ‘page cannot be displayed’ error during this time.”
