The baseball team (11-15) defeated Adirondack Community College (0-18) 13-1 and 10-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Andrew Kozak (Sidney/Sidney) was the winning pitcher allowing only two hits and four strikeouts in game one. On the day, Kozak went 4-5 at the plate with three doubles, a homerun, two RBIs, and six runs scored. Sean Geisel (Guilderland/Guilderland) went perfect at the plate in game one hitting 3-3, with three RBIs and three runs scored, and Matt Leonardo (Colonie/Colonie) added a three-run homerun. In game two, Leonardo, Jarrod Ford (Hoosic Valley/Johnsonville), and Tanner Cornacchini (Rhinebeck/Rhinebeck) had two hits each and combined for five RBIs.
The team travels to Mohawk Valley Community College on Tuesday, April 17 for a game at 2 p.m.
