The baseball team (0-4) lost two close games in a double-header against Cecil College (4-0) on Sunday. The Vikings fell 9-6 in the first game and then 11-10 in game two.
Leading the way for the Vikings in the first game was Chris Massaroni (Voorheesville/Voorheesville), who went 1-4 with a double and RBI. In game two, Andrew Christie (Troy/Troy) went 4-4 with three runs scored and two RBI’s. Tyler Young (Shaker/Latham) went 2-4 with a three-run triple and four RBIs.
The Vikings travel to Myrtle Beach, SC for their spring trip as they will play multiple teams from around the east coast. The team’s next game is against Rappahannock Community College (VA) on March 20 at 1 p.m.
