The HVCC Chemistry Club hosted its annual Beaker Planter Giveaway during SpringFest on April 25.
Approximately 100 donated houseplants found new homes. This means approximately 200 plastic cups found another use before heading to the landfill!
In addition, 250 seed packets (various flowers and veggies) were distributed. We have some seed packets leftover so feel free to email Dr. Nowosielski (d.nowosielski@hvcc.edu) if you’d like some pink hollyhock, pumpkin, and/or orange trumpet vine seeds for your garden.
Many thanks to all who made a donation of cups, plants, and/or seeds. They were much appreciated and greatly helped the Chemistry Club with this endeavor.
