Here is some important information for wrapping up the semester. If you need assistance, Distance and Online Learning staff will be available except on the holidays that the college is closed.

Blackboard End of Fall 2013 Procedures
- Fall 2013 student access to Blackboard courses will end on Saturday morning, Dec. 21.
- A banner has been posted in Blackboard to let students know the last access date.
- The Distance and Online Learning Help Desk will have extended hours: someone will be available in the evenings from 5 to 9 p.m. via e-mail or phone during final exams.
Incompletes
- All Fall 2013 students given a grade of I (Incomplete) will be able to access the Fall 2013 courses again in Blackboard after grades are posted by the Registrar.
- Students who have an I (Incomplete) will remain enrolled in their Fall 2013 Blackboard course until either the grade converts or 30 days into the Spring 2014 semester.
- If faculty have assigned any student a grade of I (Incomplete), they must keep their Fall 2013 course set to be “Available” in the Course Settings area in the Control Panel or the student will not be able to access it.

- Grading Discussion Boards – Please Note: you will not be able to grade using the discussion board grading tool after students lose access to courses. (This means that you will lose access to grade directly from the discussion board on Saturday morning December 21st. If you want to grade from the discussion board area please plan to grade your discussion before Saturday, December 21st.
