Bb Learn 3400.0.3
Here’s a short tip for faculty who set their announcements to go out simultaneously as emails to their students. If you re-use announcements from a previous semester, the Blackboard system administrator, rather than the instructor, is listed as the author of the email. If your students reply to these emails, the replies will go to whoever is listed as the author of the announcement, in this case, the system administrator. To make sure that student replies go to you, simply open the announcement for editing, and then select the Submit button. You don’t need to make changes to the announcement– when you open the announcement, Blackboard will list you as the author of the announcement, and student replies to that announcement will go instead to you.
