Bb Learn 3000.2
Here is a short, but important, Blackboard tip for the end of the semester. Simply put, many students will be taking end-of-semester tests in Bb, and the odds are that some of them will encounter issues while taking their exams. However, there are a number of steps that your students can take to reduce — if not eliminate — their chances of having an issue.
Students who follow this top-10 list of Bb test-taking tips, will go a long way toward avoiding problems:
- Use a wired internet connection, rather than a wireless connection.
- Use a computer, rather than a mobile device, when taking a test in Bb (unless the instructor confirms that the test is mobile-compatible).
- Use FireFox when taking a test in Bb.
- Clear the browser history and cache before taking a test.
- Make sure the browser window is maximized.
- Don’t have multiple tabs open in the browser.
- Have pop-up blocking enabled on the browser.
- Try not to have other applications open when they take the test.
- Don’t have multiple Bb sessions open at the same time.
- Log out of Bb and log back in before taking the test, so that the test starts with a fresh Bb session.
If you wish to, you can easily copy/paste the above list of tips into a Bb announcement to your students.
