Here is a short (and sweet?) Blackboard tip for faculty whose students are unable to view the feedback that they provide for them on tests, Discussion Board posts, assignment submissions, etc.
Simply put, the steps that students need to follow to view feedback in the new version of Blackboard (Bb 9.1 April 2014) are not obvious, and many students cannot figure out those steps without help. The quick fix is to provide your students with access to the tutorials that outline those steps:
- How to View Assignment Results and Feedback
- How to View Discussion Board Grades and Feedback
- How to View Test Results and Feedback
The above links can be readily copied and pasted into any appropriate area of your course (for example, into a course announcement, a content item, the instructions for a Discussion Forum or test, etc.) where you want your students to have easy access to them.
