Blackboard Tip of the Week

Bb 9.1 April 2014

With all due respect to his General Theory of Relativity and Special Theory of Relativity, Albert Einstein overlooked an even more fundamental Law of the Universe:  as Murphy mandates, bad things will happen when college students least want them to happen! That is, in the local application of this law, your students will have issues with their online final exams when they can least afford to encounter those issues!

As an Rx for the strife that this law will impose on your students, the DL office offers the following preventative measure, in the form of a link to a tutorial that will empower your students to effectively circumvent, if not totally avoid, the hazards of taking final exams online: Tips on Taking Tests in Blackboard!

Please feel free to copy/paste this link into an announcement (or e-mail) to your students, so that they can ensure themselves of a less stressful experience in taking their final exams!

And, as always, please feel free to contact the Distance Learning Office (629-7070/DLHelp@hvcc.edu) if you have any questions about this!
