For instructors who regularly make Blackboard content available or unavailable to their students, our new version of Blackboard now offers you a faster way in which to do that. If, say, you have an item that you want to make available to your students, simply select the arrow button for that item, and then select Make Available from the pop-up menu that appears:
Conversely, if you have an item that you want to make unavailable, select the arrow button, and then select Make Unavailable:
Note: Using this method will not override any date range settings you already have set for the item. If you set an item to be available or unavailable using the above method, that setting will be overridden by your display date settings for the item. That is, if you have set a display-after date/time for an item, and you attempt to make it available, Bb will indicate that that item will become available on the display-after date/time that you set for it. Similarly, if you try to make an item available, and the display-until date/time that you set for the item has passed, Bb will indicate that the item was last available on the display-until date/time that you set for it.
