Bob Elling, full-time Paramedic program faculty member, and his wife, Kirt Elling, have been selected to receive the honorary title of Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) Ambassadors.
MCM Ambassadors are a distinguished group of individuals who champion the MCM through their work, volunteerism, and assistance in promoting the mission that advocates physical fitness, showcases the organizational skills of the U. S. Marine Corps, and generates community goodwill.
In its letter to Bob and Kirt, the organization wrote: “Undeniably, you distinguished yourselves 19 years ago, as you exchanged vows at the event. Your participation in every MCM since demonstrates the United States Marine Corps values of honor and commitment.”
