As you prepare to leave campus for spring break, consider some recreational reading or viewing while you are away from campus! Stop by the Dwight Marvin Library before leaving:
Borrow a few magazines from the current display. Check out Cooking Light, New Yorker, ArtForum, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, Consumer Reports, Sports Illustrated, and dozens more!
Grab a graphic novel (we’ve got Alison Bechdel’s works while they last — she’s appearing on campus on Friday, March 23), award-winning children’s books (kids home from school? grandkids visiting?), young adult novels (quick reads you can finish by the time break is over), popular reading (lots of mysteries), and books in your major/discipline (for the serious reader).
Like to watch movies? The DVD collection is available for borrowing. Choose a recent Oscar winner like Spotlight, 12 Years a Slave, Selma, or The Help. Find a documentary such as Bowling for Columbine, Super Size Me, or O.J.: Made in America.
For music lovers, check out our audio CD collection reflecting eclectic interests: operas, musicals, talking word, piano, orchestra, Sinatra, and hundreds of others.
Have an enjoyable break!
