The Public Employees Federation (Labor Division 202) has selected The Animal Support Project as the beneficiary of its first charity event — a bowl-a-thon scheduled for Friday, Sept. 21 at Spare Time Lanes in Latham. Two rounds will be held at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Sponsors, donors and bowlers are needed to make this event a success; 100% of the proceeds will go directly to assist animals in need and there are a lot of them! (The Animal Support Project is inundated on a daily basis with calls and e-mails for assistance with an animal or animals in need.)
So, come and have an afternoon of fun and BOWL FOR THE ANIMAL SUPPORT PROJECT!
· Up to 90 bowlers for each shift
· Four-six bowlers per team
· Team captain will be a PEF member, team members can be anyone
· Each team member must solicit at least $25 in donations
· $12 covers 2 games and shoes for one person
· The Animal Support Project will collect pet food and other items
