Removal of asbestos-containing floor tile will be conducted in BRN 005 during the weeks of January 5 and 12, 2015. The removal will be conducted by Op-Tech Environmental Services. Project monitoring and air monitoring will be conducted by Alpine Environmental.
The southwest entrance to Brahan Hall (facing the Parking Garage/Science Center) and portions of the corridors will be closed during much of this time, but all offices and rooms will remain accessible.
The handicapped parking spaces directly outside of Brahan and the accessible entrance will be blocked during this time. Additional handicapped parking can be found inside the Parking Garage. Mobility impaired individuals can access Brahan by taking the bridge from the third floor of the Parking Garage to the second floor of Fitzgibbons and turning left to enter Brahan Hall.
