Assistant Professor Brian Farr will discuss his novel “Deerfield,”at the Saratoga Arts Dee Sarno Theater on Broadway, Saratoga, at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 14. The book reading and discussion is sponsored by Healing Springs Recovery Center.
“Deerfield” deals with small town life, addiction, recovery and the search for redemption.
September is National Recovery Month.
Farr is the lead professor in the college’s Chemical Dependency Counseling program.
