We are excited to announce that the Summer D2L Brightspace training schedule and registration information are available. Please understand that we continue to try to accommodate faculty schedules, but our current staffing limits our availability. Therefore, Instructional Designers cannot offer one-on-one appointments or walk-in support for Brightspace. However, we have Online Faculty Mentors to aid those who need one-on-one assistance during and after training.
Blackboard to D2L Brightspace Course Conversions
Faculty can submit requests to have their Blackboard course shells migrated to D2L Brightspace. Currently, no one will be able to import content into Brightspace. You may send course conversion requests as needed. Please note, this is a manual and multi-step process. It may take several days to complete your conversion request.

IIT and DL Staff will be reaching out to departments and Blackboard organization leaders soon. If you are interested in general training for working in Brightspace, you can attend the Brightspace Basics sessions. Targeted training sessions will be available throughout the summer.
