The Copyright Committee is seeking faculty representation for its composition.
Our current committee includes the following departments:
- Distance Learning (Sue Gallagher – on sabbatical – and Linda Ryder)
- Information Technology Services (Sue Glaude)
- Instructional Media Center (Lindsey Watson)
- Instructional Technology Services (Bob Racette)
- Marvin Library (Brenda Hazard and Valerie Waldin, Chair)
- Student Life (Alfredo Balarin)
This is solid representation for HVCC, and we have made great strides in compliance with the DMCA and HEOA, thanks to our committee members and Rob Kwiatkowski of ITS. However, we would like to have two or three faculty available to attend meetings (approximately two per semester) to provide insight into copyright concerns and issues that may be occurring in the traditional classroom and distance learning setting.
