To assist families victimized by the wrath of Hurricane Dorian, Hudson Valley Community College will be coordinating a relief effort campaign to encourage members of the campus community to donate non-perishable food items, clothing, toiletries, school supplies and other essential items. The college will be working with area religious and community organizations that participated in the Interfaith Community Forum to support this humanitarian project.
All donations will be collected beginning Monday, Sept. 9 and continue through the end of the month. Donation bins will be placed in the Campus Center and also can be dropped off at the Student Activities Office, Campus Center, room 210.
