The Procurement (aka Purchasing) Department is dedicated to providing and managing for our customers the most effective and efficient procurement processes and procedures for the acquisition of quality goods and services in support of Hudson Valley Community College’s mission and goals.
In FY 2018, Purchasing processed over 5,100 purchase orders for goods and services totaling more than $29 million.
A fun fact about the Procurement staff: After a trip to Florida, Patti Gaston, director of business services, brought back Harry Potter wands for everyone and “we’re not afraid to use them!” (But only for good magic.)
