Join Chef Taffiny Elrod-Ljikovic — pictured below on the cover of Edible Capital District — and Culinary Arts students from the Capital District Educational Opportunity Center as they compete to win 1st place at Troy Chowderfest on Sunday, October 8!
The Capital District EOC will be serving a specialty chowder in front of Upstate of Mind, located at 33 2nd St. in downtown Troy.
Attendees have the opportunity to sample chowders from more than 30 local businesses and to vote for their favorite.
This event runs from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8, throughout downtown Troy. It is free to attend and will feature $2 samples (4 oz.). Bring your family and friends and show your support for the Capital District EOC, a division of Hudson Valley Community College!
