A former student, who lives in Claverack (Columbia County), is seeking a caregiver to assist him, mostly evenings and weekends. Duties would include some light cooking and occasionally driving this young man, who is legally blind and has Cerebral Palsy, throughout his community.
An aide is needed from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. or 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., plus weekend availability.
The salary is $11 per hour. Applicants must be 18 or older, and a current physical and PPD (tuberculosis skin test) are required.
