Cassie the collie has a new name and a new life!

Some of you may have read the recent post about Cassie the collie, who spent years in one room, living in her own feces and urine, in darkness and loneliness. Well, thanks to the Animal Outreach Club, Cassie’s story was heard and Alice and Val are happy to report that Cassie is now Fantine.

Fantine is getting used to the life  a dog should have — clean food and water, fresh air, time for walks, veterinary care and tons of love! Her new owner already has brought Fantine to a groomer, a veterinarian, taken her on car rides, walks and she sleeps on a couch.

Thank you Kit Haynes for noticing the post and making sure it got into the right hands — the new owner’s!.

Fantine will need an operation on her very poor teeth. If anyone is interested in making a donation to the Animal Outreach Club for this purpose or any animal cause, we assure you the money is  put to good use and the rewards are endless.

Thank you!
