Meet Cassie the collie who came from a place where she was kept in one room with a sheet over the window, rarely walked, lived in her own feces and urine for years. She is now 6 and was recently taken to a vet. Her teeth are in bad shape but otherwise she is remarkably healthy and happy to be alive. She is staying at Pondview Kennels in East Nassau, but this is temporary.
Please consider adopting Miss Cassie and giving her the life she has never had. I will help sponsor her, meaning there will be some financial assistance for her care. She is a dear, gentle girl and loves people. She just needs a loving home and place to run and be a dog.
