Chief Diversity Officer Ainsley Thomas and Title IX Coordinator Sandra McCarthy are available to present workshops to your classes, college forum, or other venues. Presenting in a class may be especially useful to your students if you teach in an area historically dominated by a single demographic that, due to expanding opportunities, has a small minority of another demographic now enrolled. We would like to assist our students in learning how to better interact with a diverse population at the college and, eventually, in the workspace. Minority demographics may include a small number of students with a disability, of a particular race or ethnicity, of a particular gender or gender identity, or some other minority. The workshop, generally, takes about an hour. Please contact one of us so we can schedule something with your class or forum.
